Would not recommend
Microsoft Office skills was sold to me that I would manage online and take 90 hours to complete. If I needed help, support was a phone call away or I could visit the centre in Epsom, which was closest to me. When I asked to buy one module at a time, I was told no, I had to pay in full or I could pay in three instalments, one month at a time. I have spent 70 hours and only competed Word Part 1. I still have Part 2, Excel, Power Point and Outlook to do. There is no branch in Epsom, so I have to go into London Holborn. A student there bought Word individually. So asked another salesperson how the pricing worked and she said I could buy individual modules. The same student found she was taking much longer than too and we heard inductions being done and students told to expect their work to take longer. My reality of working online was getting home from work at 7pm, eating, then 8pm worked on Word, when the centre was closed. So waited a week until my day off to get help, making slow progress. I then took annual leave to get work done, only for Pitman to cancel or change the plan last minute. This wasted my time and annual leave, so I couldn't trust them to be reliable. My hours changed so I could go in Saturdays only to be told they were closing Saturdays. I asked for my money back, was told no as they would open again. Took 6 weeks before they opened Holborn again. On Saturdays I get 3hrs work done in 5 hours as the person helping is so stretched, doing CV help, exams, answering phones etc. I feel angry I am in this situation when I was trying to do something for my future to change career, they took my money, I feel like I have been scammed.
