We loved our house but Five Star Management was terrible

We loved our house, it was sooo beautiful and in the perfect spot! But we were disappointed in the rental company from the beginning. The communication between them was very poor, we inquired on getting early access (which I understand it cannot be guaranteed). But when we arrived we attempted to call the company to see if we can get in, we were hung up on. We called back again, and were told the house was JUST completed, but we waited outside for over an hour and got in. Upon entry we noticed there were no cleaning products, no dish soap, no garbage bags, no sponges, no propane in the grill. We went out and purchased the bare minimum to just get us through the night. That night we also noticed that every pull out bed only had sheets provided. Half of the house had to sleep under towels and one sheet. We called immediately the next morning, and it took 4 hours for them to deliver soap, garbage bags, and a sponge, and the bag WREAKED of cigarettes. When I asked about the blankets, I was rudely told the housekeeping company showed them pictures of the sheets and that we were not going to be told that we weren't getting more unless I had asked. The man then returned to give us the blankets, wreaking of cigarettes again, another 2 hours later. When the maintenance man came to provide us with a propane tank, he entered the house without wearing a mask, and when I explained to him we have asthmatics and someone who is pregnant, he begrudgingly put it on and said he "just doesn't like wearing it". He switched out the propane tank but stated that igniter appeared to not be working but he "fixed it". After he left we attempted to use it and it was not fixed so we had to find different meals to cook. I have worked in customer service for over 15 years, I have never left a poor review because typically I can understand, but this was by far one of the worst customer experiences I have had. Between the attitude for having to provide the bare minimum for a house to function, the difficulty and lack of communication, the grill not working and us having to rearrange meal plans, the lack of consideration when entering a house full of strangers during a pandemic (regardless of your beliefs), all left a very sour taste in our month. The home was perfect, and the beach front made up for the lack of customer service. When renting a house from now on, I will avoid any Five Star is the property management company.
