Disgusted with the service
Booked and paid in advance for two vehicles in Arctic Norway. Flight was delayed, so we missed our connection & had to stay a night in Oslo. I emailed Hertz in the evening to say we’d be a day late. Our party of 8 (including heavily pregnant daughter & elderly friend) were told that as we were more than 2 hours delayed our rentals had been cancelled & there were no others available. We were stranded at the airport. After 3 hours we booked 2 new vehicles for more than twice the price. (An additional £1000) and were charged £140 cancellation fee. Neither Rentalcars or Hertz have offered any compensation.
