Richard Kendall letting, Let me down…
Richard Kendall were my letting agents who were responsible for getting me in the flat. They did that but failed to pickup the landlord on some issues with the flat. The entry report was glorious but hid the broken toilet door lock, building door buzzer broken for five years previously. The old fridge that hummed and banged loudly at night.Foul smell from sink. Dirty windows which never cleaned even after a year. In the exit report it seemed they wanted to help the landlord with his spruce up costs for the next tenant with my deposit and said the flat was unclean and skirting boards were dirty and is broken the toilet lock. Even though i done a deep clean for two days straight it wasn’t ever gonna be clean enough. They had arranged people trampling through the flat for two days viewing it before they did the exit report. Very disappointed that Richard Kendall didn’t give me benefit of doubt but we’re so biased towards the landlord who wasn’t even maintaining the flat properly. He has not got the excuse to take most of my deposit on suspect claims and can use my deposit to find his cost of preparing the flat for the new tenant. Very disappointing and unfair.
