DO NOT RENT FROM GREAT JONES!!
Words cannot describe how much of a scumbag rental agency Great Jones is. I don’t even know where to start. I could write a book on all my bad experiences with them. Let’s go ahead and start with the mold problem. Numerous occasions over the course of over a year I’ve sent 8-10 emails I’ve called at least five times and they refuse to do anything to fix the problem. I’ve had hundreds of dollars worth of items destroyed due to mold and I brought this to the attention to the property management and they do not care about anything other than getting their check every month. Most recently I had a tree that was rotted and need to be taken out and cut down because it was going to fall on the power lines. I’ve let them know about two months in advance this was a problem and a fire hazard and they still did not do anything about it. After 3 weeks the tree finally fell with the powerlines going down with it causing two fires in my yard and my power out for ten hours. It got to the point where to get anything done I had a hold my rent. And good luck giving them a phone call because I’ve never once over two years had them answer the phone. Last but not lease my driveway caused $2000 worth of damage to my car because they would not fix it even though I just needed a wheel barrow of dirt and they pretty much said I just had to deal with it. Now I’m having to take them to small claims court. This all could have been avoided if they just did there f*cling job. Renters beware and stay away from ANY Great Jones property’s especially columbia.
