Snow, snow, snow!

Our trip was almost side-lined due to the big storm that hit Tahoe in late December. We were unable to get into the house the first night of our rental, but TurnKey has offered a future stay-credit which we appreciate. Pros: The house was perfect for a large family. Large kitchen which was well-stocked with cooking pots, pans, etc. The living area was great for relaxing and playing games at the large table. The location was also perfect... just a 5 minute drive to town. We had fun sledding right outside the house. The driveway was plowed and ready for us when we arrived just after the storm. Cons: This house could use a really deep clean! Because the rental allows pets (which is great!), I think extra time needs to be taken when it comes to cleaning. The carpet in the living room did not look like it had been vacuumed. The master bedroom did not look like the sheets had been changed, however TurnKey was very responsive and sent someone to deliver clean sheets (there were no extras any where in the house). The other bedrooms were fine. The master bedroom and bathroom also do not appear to have heat coming through. There was a small portable heater in the room which was helpful. For the money we paid to stay here during the holidays, we were overall super disappointed with the condition of the house.
