Charged but no delivery, no customer service response
I wish I could select zero stars. I ordered a gift basket. AFTER I had paid for the order, the website confirmation page informed me of shipping delays that were not indicated in the time estimates provided when I selected the mode of shipping. I was disappointed, but I understand that delays are occurring due to the pandemic, and although my basket would apparently not arrive by Christmas as hoped, it would arrive well before New Years, according to the estimate. More than four weeks after I ordered, and well past New Years, it still has not arrived (despite an original estimated delivery time of three days). I have attempted to contact the company multiple times. The website indicates you can speak with a phone operator during business times, but the number connects to a voice mailbox with a robo-recording, and my voicemail message was not returned. The live chat function on the site is not live; it just sends off an email; I eventually received a generic reply that was totally unresponsive to my inquiry. My other attempts to reach the company have not been successful. The 'tracker' app has not worked consistently, and the information it provides when I can log in is limited and unhelpful, and is also inconsistent with the information I received from that one generic email. I understand that the pandemic has made deliveries more challenging, but the level of opacity and dishonesty I've experienced makes me wonder if this company ever intended to deliver my package at all, or if this is an entirely fraudulent operation.
