Title: Frustrating, Unprofessional, and Poorly Trained Staff
We recently submitted a PCC application for my wife through BLS Canada and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. The application was rejected the first time due to a minor missing detail (postal code), which we accept as our oversight. However, after creating a new application (with a new ARN and updated address), we followed every instruction given by BLS agents — calling multiple times to confirm the exact documents needed. Despite submitting everything as told, the second application was returned again — this time for not including a "self-declaration for change in appearance" which was never mentioned in any checklist or by any agent we spoke to. When I called BLS for clarification, the representatives had no idea what a self-declaration even meant. One agent mentioned "draft" and then randomly started talking about bank drafts, completely confusing the situation. Their phone support team is uninformed, untrained, and reads from a script without actually helping. To make things worse, I was told I would have to pay $100 again for courier service because the application was returned due to their poor communication. If you're dealing with BLS, triple-check everything, record calls if you can, and don't expect consistent or professional support. It's clear they’re more focused on generating fees than providing actual service. Extremely disappointed with how avoidable delays and costs are being passed onto applicants.
