Booked a European NCL cruise 6 months in advance with cruises.com, who position themselves as the 'experts'. 2 weeks before the cruise I got a notification from NCL saying there were some rules in effect and I needed to prove citizenship or residency in another country. I called cruises.com, and they connected me with NCL and confirmed that my documents were enough. Flew all the way from California, and got denied boarding without any refund. I wish I had booked directly with NCL and not had the man-in-the-middle called cruises.com who created all this mess and refused to provide a discount. Typical bait-and-switch appoach.
