Poor communication and customer focus.
My experience, on this occasion, is of very poor communication and customer focus. Previous excellent service was not in evidence. Staff seem over stretched and unable to respond in a timely manner, nor indeed process and keep on top of bookings to ensure a satisfactory level of service. Poor proof reading of communications such as email confirming booking and advising payment must be made 5 days prior to email being sent. Then next day sending another email saying I have failed to pay for my booking by the previous days date when the confirmation email was sent. I ended up having to go direct to the hotel myself to confirm a vacant room was available to get booking completed in a timely manner. To be honest Riviera was a recognised and trusted premium travel service , something has obviously changed and not for the better.
