Good service overall

I had never heard of Homelement prior to ordering so was a bit hesitant but I was able to find the furniture that I wanted that was out of stock other places so I took a chance and glad I did. The service was very good overall. I wish that a full service shipping/delivery option was available to people outside of NJ as that's a service I value. The only "complaint" I have is that I was not contacted to set up delivery as is noted in the confirmation. I hadn't heard anything about delivery so I finally called only to be notified that it was being delivered that very day!! This was a problem because I needed to have help to get the items into my condo and up the stairs and this help had to be scheduled in advance once I had set up my delivery date/time. So, I had no help arranged and had to call the delivery service and talk to them about paying to have the items brought in, which I was able to do. As noted, it would have been much easier to just have this option in the first place. Also, I travel frequently so it's lucky I was home when delivered but had I been out of town, what would have happened? It's important for something like this that the delivery be scheduled by calling the purchaser as is noted in the confirmation e-mail received. All that said, the delivery customer person I spoke with was very helpful and apologetic that the procedures hadn't been followed. The furniture itself is beautiful and sturdy and I'm very happy with it. I would definitely order from Homelements again.
