Broken wheel on first leg of holiday
Broken wheel on first leg of holiday. These suitcases look the part but are not fit for travelling with airlines. Bought a matching 3 piece set. Lovely compartments enjoyed packing it but that’s where the gun ended. Packed medium case with 17kg Picked it up from conveyor belt, wheeled the medium case 100 meters and 1 of front wheels came off making it very tricky to pull. Wrote to customer service and asked if they would kindly send a replacement wheel out to my next destination as I was going to 5 different locations on this month trip They said that they don’t send parts out and that my suitcase is not covered by the warranty as it’s been mishandled by the airline and to write to them!!! Turns out my brother in law also bought this name and the same thing happened to him. Wheel fell off first time in transit. So unless you are using these suitcases for a weekend away transporting these suitcases in the boot of your car, they are not fit for purpose with airlines. I didn’t see any other other cases came off broken with emirates on that trip just mine!! I’ve been travelling for 30 years and I’ve never had a wheel come off!! As this happened the very time I ever used them with 9 further flights to take on this journey…. I am very disappointed and have little faith for the rest of the transits!! Poor quality of manufacturing and terrible so called customer service and misleading 10 year warranty..
