DO NOT TRUST UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

I want everyone to know what an absolutely horrible experience I had. I live in NYC and because of the coronavirus, I was unable to be in Toronto for my only niece's first birthday. So I decided to scrape together some money (when my company just laid off 75% of the workforce and I could be in the next round) because I wanted her to have something from me. I chose a flower arrangement and 6 cupcakes. The package was never delivered. They claim the delivery was attempted at 2:57pm on Monday afternoon, but no one was there. My family was absolutely home and said that no one came to the door. Where are they going to go- with a one year old- on the middle of a global health crises?! Further, no attempt was made to contact us. I know this for a fact bc I have them MY telephone number and there are absolutely no missed calls. So the NEXT AFTERNOON I get an email from their customer service letting me know AND telling me I had to pay an additional $14.99 for a second delivery attempt!! Meanwhile the cupcakes and flowers are already a day old! I responded and no one answered. Until Wednesday, so now the flowers and cupcakes are TWO days old, and they tell me I now have to pay an additional $40 !! Needless to say, I am absolute irate. I have never, EVER experienced such a horrible customer service experience in my lifetime. I am so, so sad that my niece never received her presents from me when I couldn't be with her. And, it's not a good moment for anyone to be spending the money, so I'm concerned about that too. I cannot pay the additional $40 so this is all going to waste. This company should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for treating customers this way. Clearly there was some sort of mistake with this delivery as I can assure everyone that my family was indeed home (we are in the middle of a Pandemic and they have a one year old baby!! DUH) And why didn't this delivery person try to call when he didn't get an answer at the door? Do not depend on this company. They will disappoint you and then tell you it's your fault and try to make you pay more money.
