My grandson had a bike for Christmas…
My grandson had a bike for Christmas not long learnt to ride it when the peddle system fell apart . Took the bike to Halfords Llanelli where the service is awful . Guy in the bike department told me and my son he wouldn’t look at it with out an appointment.? We booked the appointment and then he told us it was wear and tear which is rubbish which was absolutely nonsense the bike had a few scratches only after he came out of his mood he was half tidy and we booked it in for the Thursday which was 5 days later On the Thursday we arrived at the shop to be greeted by a guy called Michael who asked do we have an appointment. He didn’t even check the computer to see if we had an appointment. He then went on to say he be called in because a member of staff had gone sick which really wasn’t our problem. He then lectured us to say the bike problem was wear and tear which we disputed . He then said let me educate you what a condescending plonker all we wanted was the bike repaired after a bit of conversation he said it would be fixed under warranty which I might add was our right. Absolutely horrible guy. On collecting the bike a week later was served by another gentleman who couldn’t find the bike then asked for the email details eventually he found it . My daughter in law then had to pay £4 for an admin fee which is totally rubbish system. We then saw the first 2 people we’d spoken with on the previous visit keeping out of the way . Whilst standing around waiting a lady who had brought a mountain bike in was complaining and had called the manager. The service is absolutely appalling at this store . My granddaughter needs a bike in September and there’s no way will I buy it there
