Price error not being honoured
Placed an order on 2nd July which was confirmed credit check etc was passed. 3rd July received an email to say order was cancelled. Called and was told it was cancelled as the offer online was an error and no longer available. Complained and asked for a call back as wanted the price offered. The received confirmation of dispatch and DPD link for tracking, along with a welcome email confirming my new number and price as agreed. Assumed at this point all was resolved and company honouring price - not the case. Then advised when I called again this was an error and DPD had been advised to return to sender. T's and C's state that once a dispatch notice is sent a 'contract is formed. And price will only not be honoured if the mistake should have been 'obvious' to the customer...clearly not the case here! Still trying to get a call back from a manager, who I can only assume has a long list due to such poor service. Now received a welcome email from Vodafone confirming a 2 year agreement at the price offered,yet on another call to MPD today confirmed is cancelled and not being honoured. Will be taking this to the ombudsman if a manager call back doesn't resolve my complaint. Disgusting customer service.
