Service is great, equipment is subpar.
The installation was seamless and professional. BUT. I don't see the logic of providing a router for fibre that has Ethernet ports that are 100MB. I have an old house with thick walls and have invested a significant amount of money in equipment to mitigate the problem of WiFi dead spots. Plugging my mesh into the ports on the router yielded a speed of less than 100Mbps, removing GoFibre's router completely achieved far higher throughput (circa 250Mbps). If GoFibre's differentiator is higher speed, why supply equipment that can't take advantage of that speed. What should be the most reliable connection in the house proves to be the slowest. I will contact customer service and organize the return of the router.
