Not impressed
Just switched from Bord Gais - They assume everyone has smart meter - poor customer service - No help what so ever with my a/c - Pity - they don't give a crap about their customers - Plus won't listen when asked to create formal complaint when i wanted one open - I received my 2 month bill 18 Dec 2024 for 1 month usage 16 Oct 2024 to 21 Nov 2024 - I entered my Dec meter read on Bord Gais website 21 Dec and no bill was generated - Webchat, I gave another meter read 31 Dec and the agent was unable to generate a bill for me - So now my next billing will be between 20 Feb - 12 Mar (3/4 month bill) NOT IMPRESSED - My previous suppliers could generate a bill no problem when given meter reads - This is the second time this has happened since i joined Bord Gais in June 2024 - I am a first time customer of Bord Gais and have to say disappointed - Another issue, I have to log into my account on ESBN website to see the meter reads, consumption, Bord Gais does not provide that option (can only enter meter read not view previous meter reads) where as other suppliers allows their customers to view consumption on their account online - EDIT - My scheduled billing was Dec - - I don't have a smart meter for insights - - I entered meter read 21 Dec when i got bill 18th Dec as requested , no bill generated - - All your doing is making excuses and pushing it back to the customer - poor form when the customer has done everything expected, but got no bill up to Dec meter read - My meter reads are always higher than previous accurate reads as i want my bills and usage up to date -
