DO NOT Trust Them - Not Providing a Refund as Originally Promised
I booked a tour of Morocco that was canceled due to COVID-19. What bothers me isn't that the tour was canceled, but that Intrepid Travel refuses to honor their booking policy and provide me with a full refund. It's now been a full month of back and forth and no progress has been made. They insist on providing a credit instead and that their customers are happy with it. Yet when you contact their support team, they say that they're overwhelmed with requests. Clearly, their customers are angry and want their money back. In addition, I've already filled out the form that they recommend for escalations. But no one has gotten ever gotten back to me. This a totally unethical and unprofessional company. AVOID AT ALL COST! And the fact that they're giving credit for two years when it'll be impossible to travel safely internationally for the next two years is just ridiculous. This is an absolutely delusional proposition since every public health expert is predicting that there will be multiple waves of COVID-19 for the next two years. There's no way international travel will be safe. This is a totally messed up company that is putting profits ahead of the well being of their customers.
