First time visit to Warners Cricket St Thomas

First time visit to Warners stayed at Cricket St Thomas in Somerset. The hotel & grounds were well maintained. Some rooms were in a courtyard setting away from main building which required a walk outside to reach restaurant not ideal in bad weather had to wear coats to dining room. Food & entertainment were good , although seats were limited in the entertainment area if you were on a late dinning time. Surprisingly limited option of main meal if you are vegetarian. Little disappointed that the complimentary extra’s described in the adverts for the signature rooms (bath robes & wine) were not included. We did manage to get robes from reception to use for visiting swimming pool. Some activity facilities needed some updating , dart board & table tennis table had seen ‘better days’ . Swimming pool was great but there was limited seating around pool. (6 loungers). Staff pleasant & helpful throughout the stay & rooms clean & tidy. The hotel setting was in extensive grounds with lovely scenery.
