Poor communication, Very expensive
Very poor communication, the most expensive way you could possibly sell and with no greater reward or reason to do so. Charged £500 to list the three (apparently the bill for the 2 1/2 hours photography session on the three) and then you have to pay either £600+ VAT or 6% of the final value fee, whichever is higher of course! Faults with their system with me being notified about bids that were actually non existent (due to being retracted) but no note of it until the auction finished. Car finished at £5100 despite me being told it was £6k. Apparently the buyer did not have available funds, why was this not checked or a deposit taken from them before they were allowed to bid?!? Asked for something to be done on the fees due to this co**-up landing me £900 down to what I was expecting but due to it breaking the reserve and "Doing me a deal on the group photography* they were interested. Left for weeks waiting on answers from them about how post auctions sales are progressing only to be told 'It came to nothing so you can relist if you want?'. Stuck now having spent £500 on listing the three with only one having sold for £5100 (£4380 after fees). All reserves were agreed to be fair and achievable but interestingly in the last 24 hours I got calls on all three asking to lower the reserves which will definitely help get more bids, none of which got an extra bid. Ultimately, for what they charge, its most definitely not good value for money and I could not recommend. After all this hassle I wish id just spent £60 on three Ebay classified ad's!
