Won't comply with GDPR requests

This company refuses to comply with the GDPR and do not respond to data deletion requests. I will report the to the ICO and take legal actions to get my data forcefully deleted. UPDATED Thank you for replying to my review. The email address is active but for some reason the email didn't arrive. There's no reason for you to send a letter as I accept this review as confirmation. I will be checking my account again on the 10th to see if it's been deleted.

Compensation not paid

I was forced to use this solicitor by Churchill insurance, but my experience was an absolute nightmare. My case was initially allocated to someone who gave me incorrect legal advice. It was then passed to another person who produced completely different advice. After months of complaints, they admitted they provided inconsistent legal advice and offered me a compensation. It was the 17/01/24 and the compensation was never paid. After weeks of chasing, I was feed up and threatened them to recover the compensation via Small Claims Court. At that point, someone eventually phoned me and we agreed that if I didn't receive the cheque by the following day, they will block it and issue a BACS on that day or on Monday. I wrote to them on the 02/02/24 informing the cheque did not arrive; however, the cheque arrived soon after and, when I phoned back, someone told me they will check what happened and call me back. They called me back after 1 hour and stated I could go ahead and cash the cheque; however, on the 05/02/24, they emailed me stating the cheque was stopped and they will issue a BACS at some point. I am really annoyed as I have already handed the cheque to my bank and I will have to explain why I was trying to cash a blocked cheque, and the compensation has not been paid. On top of that, they are also unable to tell me when this will be paid. I have an open case with the SRA and Legal Ombudsman and I have obviously informed them that DLG failed to pay the compensation. I am now left with no other options than recovering my money via Small Claims Court. It feels like a never ending nightmare with a negligent solicitor that should not be allowed to operate.

Impossible to get my order

I was eager to try one of their coffees, hence I placed an order on Beanz.com, together with some other orders. All the coffees I ordered were posted the same day (22/12) and received on the 27th while my Sussex Barn wasn’t even dispatched. I contacted their customer service on the 28/12/23 and I was told my order would be dispatched the same day, and this was the case. I was happy to eventually have a chance to try their coffee by the end of this week but, unfortunately, the order was not handed to the carrier and is still stuck with them, possibly until next year. I appreciate that rosters operate in different ways, and I also understand the delay caused by the festivities, but I am really annoyed that an order already delayed will be delayed even further due to not being handed to the carrier. If I had known the length of time and efforts to get my order delivered, I would have definitely avoided placing an order with them. I am not sure if I will ever receive the order or if I have to call Beanz and ask them to cancel it and replace the coffee with a different rosters, but I know for a fact this will be my first and last order from this rosters.
