Avoid this hotel in Barcelona calderon
Booked 3 rooms and paid €2700 + city tax. First night air condition was not working in one of the rooms. We were - only upon request - offered complimentary breakfast as compensation. Second night COCKROACH in the room which the Hotel removed. Upon request we were offered 20% for 1 room, 1 night amount 47€ as compenstation and after heavy discussions changed to 50% amounting to 117€ - as mentioned to the Hotel, not to my satisfaction and to follow up, but careless reply from Hotel after follow up. Finding a cockroach in a room is not what’s expected from a 5star hotel. Cleaning was awful throughout the stay and another room had no light and a very humid feeling despite of air con. When a guest book a 5star hotel a certain standard is expected. This Hotel is not recommendable.
