Our 5day stay in Dunoon experience.
Our 5day stay in Dunoon was very enjoyable. Hotel was large, benefiting from fairly recent refurbishment, clean, room small but adequate with bonus of “sea view”. Constant hot water. However, no air conditioning and in recent heatwave it was essential, especially in dining room. Staff welcoming and dining room/bar staff friendly. Food varied and good. Entertainment was enjoyable. Trips out were interesting, fortunately the coach was air conditioned, some roads narrow but the driver was experienced. Could have had notable Lochs pointed out. Places we visited-Isle of Bute/Mount Stuart and Oban via Ferry and “breaks” along the way. All enjoyable. We were a party of 4, enjoyed the experience and ready to book similar trips.
