Zero aftercare and belligerent service and it gets worse!!

** Update ** Have now had my car inspected by Peugeot and among the several unreported faults they found they also discovered evidence of extensive repair work on the rear hatch door. They allege that the damage is bad enough to warrant a CAT-S rating but this was not reported at the time of sale !! Really watch out for this very dodgy business Also, when I told them I was having the car inspected by Peugeot they responded and said they would not cover any repairs for the faults at time of sale!! What a bunch of C$#ts *********** Just the worst experience Went in to purchase one of two cars I had seen online that morning to be told my first choice was already under offer so took my 2nd choice for test drive, was only allowed to drive their set route and was unable to take the car over 40mph. (Most of my driving is motorway) Agreed to take the car, completed the sale that morning and drove home. Went back out to the car a short while later, started it and after a couple of minutes idling in the drive it started vibrating badly and the engine light came on and it was then undriveable. Rang the after sales line to organize to have it taken back to the showroom and agreed an early morning time the following day which they then never showed up for, after several calls they eventually found a tray driver to come pick it up. I then went back to the showroom shortly after it left to sort the issue out. Discovered the car that was my first choice was back in stock because "the finance fell through" but in fact it failed it's MOT for poor tyres. Asked to take it for a test drive but when I walked around it there were two different tyre makes on the front and a third on the rear two. Front offside was almost bald as were both of the rears I managed to get them to take back my original (undriveable) first purchase in exchange for selling me the second car (both around £12400) and I would pay the small sticker price difference if they replaced all 4 tyres This took several days and I collected the replacement late on the 24th. Again drove home. parked up then went back to the car about 30 mins later to run an errand and it really struggled to start, then while driving I noticed it was idling poorly and the revs were surging around 1000 rpm making it very hard to park. Drove back a couple of days later, as again, was not getting any help from the after sales phone line They agreed to come and collect the car while I'm away and "fix" the issues. This date has now come and gone so I am now taking it to a service agent to have it repaired correctly and will then have to chase them to pay the bill. Which they clearly are very bad at doing looking at these reviews
