Magnificent Guide for an Amazing Indian experience
Just back from Titan’s Great India Rail Journey. Put simply, it met all our expectations and more. All the sights were either as good as you would imagine, or better. What was great about Titan in particular? Obviously being collected from home (York) to get to Heathrow and brought home again. Porterage was included. Never had that before, but from meeting the Titan representative at Delhi Airport to returning 2 weeks later we didn’t have to touch our cases other than in our hotel rooms! So why only 4 out of 5? In the brochure, Titan referred to an optional tour to the Partition Museum in Amritsar, but gave us no cost or even a means to book from the UK. So I had leave it till I got there, to find that the museum is closed on Mondays, so we couldn’t go anyway! 4.75 would be fairer. And finally, it would be totally remiss not to mention how brilliant Abi, our guide was. Simply the best we’ve ever had. Very knowledgable, perfect English, and the most caring person you could ever want to meet. If you ever come the UK to see York, there’s a bed for you, your wife and your son ready.
