I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I have received from TM Legal. I believe this issue needs to be investigated by the appropriate authorities, as it has caused significant distress and negatively impacted my credit. TM Legal incorrectly submitted my outstanding balance from Orbit Energy to the court, claiming I had not made payments since 2019, which is untrue. The court, without notifying me, passed this information to credit reporting agencies, which resulted in my credit score being affected. As soon as I discovered this issue, I contacted TM Legal for clarification but unfortunately received no help. In an effort to resolve the situation, I made the full payment within 10 days of the court’s decision. I requested a receipt from TM Legal for the payment I made, but they refused. When I asked the court for a certificate confirming my payment to clear my name from the credit list, they informed me that they required notification from TM Legal. However, TM Legal has told me that they will not notify the court directly, and the process could take anywhere from 30 to 90 days. I have spent an excessive amount of time on the phone with various TM Legal staff, repeatedly explaining my case. The last representative I spoke to, Renell, was particularly unhelpful. I hope these calls were recorded for review. I am extremely frustrated with how easily TM Legal took my payment but have provided no support in resolving this issue. It is unacceptable that when I seek to protect my rights, I am met with such poor service.
