I just purchased an investment property…
I just purchased an investment property and of course I needed insurance as a went through the loan process. I decided on Steadily Insurance and paid my invoice upfront. I closed on Nov 4, 2024 I recieved a letter from the at the end of the month stating there were going to cancel my policy at the end of December 2024 because the house was in despair. Now on the day we closed we started renovating the home to get it ready to rent out by Dec 1. I'm guessing someone came out assessed the property and decided to cancel the policy. I do not understand if someone purchases investment property in the inner city 1. The house is already in despair 2. It's going to look worse before a good investment owner brings the beauty out. I decided to just cancel before the anticipated drop date and go elsewhere. I don't understand what this company is doing. Accepting payment and then send a letter to drop you within 45 days. This is my story you guys have to decide if this company you want to do business with. Be mindful if your investment property is in the inner city. They may drop you
