My family and I (9 people) traveled on the Princess Majestic Alaskan inside passage this past September 2021. It was their last Alaskan passage. Two months prior to are cruise we ALL attempted to get the medallion on our phones. I spent my hours waiting on he phone for a customer service rep. with the knowledge to assist me. In the end only two of us got the app on our phone prior to boarding. Because of this we were not able to sign up to dine together and every night it was difficult to get a table for all of us. At embarkation we were told we would not be leaving the dock due to a storm and as a result we would not be going to one of the ports. Then after arriving in Juneau we were told we would not be going to the second port. So in total we spent 6.5 days a sea and half a day in Juneau. While I cant blame the weather on Princess I do blame them for the poor planning and service. The food was mediocre at best. This is my 7th cruise with various cruise lines and frankly I could not have been more disappointed. The bread rolls were very hard and cold. The butter was hard as a rock. The should be hot food was offered at room temp. When I asked for it to be heated up I was told , sorry we can't. Seriously! They could not provide hot food!!!! As a avid salad eater, I ordered salad in an attempt to avoid the should be hot room temp food. Every salad that was offered had at total 5 leafs of various lettuce and a single cherry tomato all of which was drowning in dressing. At one point was so so hungry I ordered SEVEN salads with dressing on the side to get full. To sum up the food.... I lost weight on the cruise! The fancy dinner night was no better at all. The lobster was so bad I only had a single bit of it. I would like to say this was only my opinion but sadly it was just as bad for everyone we traveled with and the strangers I observed asking for the same things we asked for and being denied. I have never been told no so many times on a cruise. Shame on you Princess!!!!
