Is your life lacking another pointless app? Try Darwin!

UPDATE- Darwin shared my personal email and my home address with a list of other tenants cc'd in an email. I also received 2 other tenant's lease renewal documents that included other tenant's names, addresses, rent information. When I called customer service line, they chastised me for opening the email that was addressed to me. If you want your private information like your home address to stay private AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Darwin homes has nonexistent customer service. There's no way to speak with a person or the property manager via app, email or phone. Darwin doesnt seem to have anyone local to my area/state who is familiar with state law. Darwin does not respond to inquiries sent via app or maintenance tickets placed. It appears there is no way to pay rent without incurring a fee. Worse, the app used to pay via ACH withdrawal forces you to share 1 month of banking transactions, SS # and other personal details. Darwin tries to force you to use other app to manage utility payments - Nutiliti. It's not clear whether the app is required or not. Largely this is a pointless app. We love our rental house but since the property management switch to Darwin, we may have to look elsewhere.
