Alinta's invasive questioning
I recently switched to Alinta Energy. I compare energy retailers monthly and swap regularly. To sign up with Alinta was long, invasive and complex, many of the questions are not asked by other energy retailers eg. Asking for drivers license number and drivers licence card number ( which I have never been asked before ever). Most questions were asked up to 4 times - excessive. Other energy retailers are quick, efficient and seamless. Even if Alinta is cheaper next month I will sign with another company and inform my friends and family of Alinta’s invasive questioning. I tried to contact Alinta to speak with someone about this matter, however, most of the phone in is automated which further infuriates customers. If someone from management wants to contact me on this matter please do.
