Superfast delivery, charges my VW Multivan
We bought a new VW Multivan Hybrid, which came with a lead to charge from a charging station but did not come with a cable to charge from a domestic three pin plug. I scoured some reviews (I know nothing about this market, it is our first EV) and found the EV Cable Shop. I emailed a couple of questions and got a prompt, detailed and helpful reply. This reassured me that my £192 was going to a safe place and I placed an order. They stated that they would dispatch same day, via courier, but that the delivery date would be up to the courier, but would be within 72 hours. Actually, I ordered yesterday morning, and the cable was delivered today, under 24 hours later. For my £192 I got a bag and the longer, 10m charging cable. I have just hooked it up to our outdoor power socket (previously used purely for the lawn mower), followed the simple instructions and hooked up the car (for the first time ever!). I am happy to report that it is charging well, the estimated time tallies with what the car manufacturer suggested, and the unit is not getting unusually hot. So the headline: I highly recommend the EV Cable Shop, their 10m £192 cable works with a 2023 VW Multivan hybrid and their customer service is top drawer. I will certainly use them again.
