Shocking customer service
Booked wheel alignment for one garage in Bedford 11.30am. Got there to be told would be at least 4 hours as their ramp broken and they would be taking my car to their garage in the next road at 3pm. Why not just tell me to do that? Gave lots of excuses about how it had been reported and not repaired for 2 weeks. Not my problem! Then went on to ask if my car has lane assistance which it has. Oh well we can't do it anyway then! Apparently it would be tricky to find someone who does. Rang Formula one when I got home and they have no problem doing it and could have done it this afternoon if I had been free. Have also been bombarded with texts, emails and automated phone calls since I booked with Halfords a few days ago. Some at 8am. Now being bombarded by calls again today trying to get me to rebook. Ha ha not a hope! I have blocked their number so they keep leaving voicemails. I rang customer service to complain and held on for 5 minutes to eventually be connected to someone who couldn't understand English so i put phone down. Considering I recently only had my 3 tyres fitted at Halfords they didn't notice alignment was out and this was picked up at a main dealer service. Whole experience was a shambles.
