***SLUMLORDS!!!***

***SLUMLORDS!!!*** Unethical property management company!! They have not fixed my HVAC since October 2022. I had major electric outages in January and they sent unlicensed technicians to do repairs after a licensed technician does an estimate. This time, I reported their fraudulent vendor to TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) because their unlicensed tech told me there’s “nothing wrong” with my unit after 2 large companies give them an estimate. There is a language barrier with customer service, and they barely reply to emails. I have to send 1 email, wait 1 day, copy and paste the same email to support@darwinhomes, maintenance@darwinhomesand resident@darwinhomes to finally get a dry response that has no solution. This company does not care about their tenants and will refuse to let you terminate a lease. They asked me to purchase heaters weeks ago and still haven’t reimbursed me. They definitely are experts in deceiving the law and their tenants… this factor may be great if you’re a slumlord looking for a slumlord-supportive property manager. ****If you are a tenant who has been treated badly, I recommend you report unlicensed technicians to TDLR, Ask maintenance vendors for their name and license number when they come to your home for repairs so you don’t have random creeps coming in your home, Report Darwin to BBB, Send certified letters ASAP because the mailing address listed in your rental agreement will just keep getting forwarded, report them to the Texas Attorney General, and last but not least… TREC!! (Texas Real Estate Commission) so they are properly investigated for being the unethical company that they are!****
