Extremely disappointed ….again!
Having read a few reviews, I was quietly confident about buying Itch for our pet Collie ‘Bess’, who was in a seemingly constant cycle of fleas, which were driving her crazy. Having tried a number of remedies, including vets issues, Itch one seemed promising, so we bought it from our local pet superstore, and started the process. As it was another of the ‘pipette on the skin’ type of things, we first bathed her, then cut her hair short, as well as making a clearer spot on the neck to ensure skin contact. The box clearly stated that we would be getting clear in 24 hours, and fresh flea visitors and eggs, larvae etc. were not going to survive either. So 36 hours later, and no change, we started fearing the worst, and decided to contact Itch to get advice, and enquire about next move, as we couldn’t now just try something else as she was now full of their treatment, and were afraid of hurting her with something else. To the credit of customer service, they did reply quickly, suggesting the time to wait was 48 hours, not the 24 we were told on the box, which seemed strange, but we let that go. They did say they needed details and order numbers from them, as they didn’t have our details online (because we bought from a pet store I assume) which I also assumed as you would, got their stocks from the company, which I could obviously prove as we had a receipt. However, that aside, we decided to give it longer to wait for the anticipated improvement, but now, 6 days on, absolutely no improvement whatsoever, and as I write this, at 4am, having been woken by her scratching herself to bits, and picking through her coat, like a doting chimpanzee parent! can only conclude, this is not going to work, and are now effectively “locked out” for a couple more weeks, before we can look elsewhere. Massively disappointed, as is Bess!,
