Airparks/Purple Parking - slippery fingers
Due to Priority Parking not being available, we’ve gone with the next closest option at Luton airport - Airparks Meet & Greet. Well, we’ve booked with Airparks but our car was collected by Purple Parking. Odd. Anyhow, drop off was fine. Upon return, it took a few times we’ve called as instructed - after customs have been cleared. It took me a few attempts to confirm that we ARE ready to collect the car (be patient to repeat yourself a few times!). The car was to be collected from Car Park 2 instead of Car Park 1, which was different from where we dropped off the car and we were not familiar with it. And yet, we still had to wait for the car to be brought. The car obviously has been kept outside (expected), some dirt, leaves, etc after a few rainy days. The driver’s seat, all mirrors, radio, the cup holder divider - all out of their usual place. Whilst seats and mirrors are understandable, everything else is not for your enjoyment and use! And here is another surprise - once we’ve got home I’ve noticed that the change we kept in the car (a couple of pounds) was gone! I have purpusfolly closed the compartment where the change is held - out of sight! Double checked with my spouse and to no shock - he didn’t take the change either. Someone at this company has the slippery fingers! Those few coins travelled to Luton and Gatwick airport parkings safely multiple times in the last 4 years up until Airparks/Purple Parking got their hands on them. It won’t break the bank, but BE ASHAMED!!!
