Food Lion:unhappy staff and value drop

I notice the staff tries to deal with the stocking and quality issues customers bring to them, especially because I'm understanding to how difficult retail can be they get it when I ask questions, but it's like their hands are tied and they've given up most of the time. I've heard them say they "will try but it probably won't do any good" and similar wording. The quality has dropped like other stores I've been to. Prices inched up, packages shrank, items are constantly out of stock..like unsweetened almond milk and heavy whipping cream. Many store brand items run out of stock and only the smallest organic size will be available in number so it makes me think...are they stocking the items that makes the highest profit and decreases customer selection because people need to buy staple items or are manufacturers switching what brands get better access to the raw product?..who knows the real answer it's just my observation and it's common to see this at many other locations I've been to in Hampton Roads and Southside Virginia. Happy staff and Value are getting harder to find.
