The cruise ship was amazing with lots…
The cruise ship was amazing with lots to do but we felt the virtuosa was a little too busy most of the time with over 6000 guests on board. I would consider the amount of passengers for future bookings. Overall the holiday was excellent with gorgeous port visits. Prices for excursions were tremendously overpriced including a shuttle service to and from the port at £10-14 euro pp which for a family of four soon added up. The entertainment was just okay. Nothing special although the staff never stopped trying to please and it is down to different tastes I guess. The food was plentiful with a varied choice for everyone and always fresh but restaurants and especially the buffet being very overcrowded at times. There was food available somewhere almost all of the time. The staff throughout the ship were fantastic, very friendly and very hardworking we could not fault them. The Aurea spa treatments again were overpriced but with deals especially on port days that made it more affordable. I had several treatments all of a a very high standard. I had a therapist Miranda / Monico (not completely sure of name sorry) anyway she was brilliant the best treatment I have ever had anywhere in the world. The whole ship was immaculate and always being cleaned around you. The cabin was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The choice of shops was good for a cruise line. The ship photos were £31+ per photo so probably best just sticking with your own decent camera. Overall it was a lovely two weeks spent cruising around Spain.
