Tech support is lacking training
Purchased a 2025 Motorola phone from Consumer Cellular that was in stock at Best Buy and no shipping fees. I paid a lil more and had to wait a few days longer to receive from CC, but I wanted the confidence in knowing that when I called CC's tech support, they wouldn't decline to assist me because I'd purchased the phone elsewhere. Turns out, I discovered a glitch in the phone after a couple days use. Their response when I asked for help was"we aren't Motorola, we can't help with that". I said I'm simply asking how to set the device name because it kept resetting itself to 100 characters of gibberish. No exaggeration. "That's coding. We don't do coding". I asked if they were serious and said that I'd google my question while on the phone with them. I got a quick answer and said to CC that I answered my own question. Thanks for the 4 transfers and 25 minutes of my time you wasted. Next time go to BestBuy for a phone. I see no advantage buying direct thru CC
