Wonders of Japan…
Just returned from19 days Wonders of Japan and Kyutsu tour MYC-61600. It was a well paced tour with lots of free time to explore. I booked onto all the optional tours. Which I was glad of as it sometimes was overwhelming arriving in a new town. Hotels were all clean with the exception of the comfort hotel on the last two nights. I was disappointed with our guide as he struggled to control our 30+ group. I was told he was a last minute replacement. His English was poor.the group stopped asking simple question and just listened to his read commentary. He was a very nice young man. I felt he was placed out of his usual area ,which was an area he had not been to before. The itinerary stated that the areas we would visit would have lively eating and shopping. Sometimes the group would have a couple of free hours to explore and have lunch only to find many of the shops closed. This tour needs a very good level of fitness.It has lots of steps and long walks from the bus to attractions.
