One of the singularly worst experiences…
One of the singularly worst experiences of attempting to get product support/repair for a five year old fridge-freezer. Started a web-chat with a bot that then passed me to an actual person and over an hour later was still left confused as to when I could expect a technician, whether LG were genuinely planning to 'collect and remove' the unit rather than fix it in situ, and, fed up with repeatedly being asked for information which I had already shared in the web-chat and while creating an LG account —felt like the divided attention of the agent was either stalling me for time or just too lazy to do the work on behalf of their customer. Between this experience and that of an LG TV in which a sub module failed just out of warranty they have lost a customer for life —however 'good' that life is supposed to be with them. LG, PLEASE don't append some pithy BS low-rent message after this for the sake of appearances, if you really want to fix the brand damage get in touch with me directly.
