They don't even deserve 1 star!
UPDATE: I have still not heard anything from anyone at PLS, false promises yet again. I would NEVER recommend PLS Solicitors to anyone. I completed on my property in July 2021 and I am STILL waiting on land registry. Their fees were extortionate in comparison to other solicitors but as they were recommended to me by my estate agent, I went with them. I have huge regrets for using PLS solicitors and was very disappointed at who I was appointed as a solicitor. I would not recommend this particular solicitor, nor would I recommend PLS at all. Despite the poor service throughout the buying process, they still wanted a trust pilot review once I completed on my property. I was reluctant to give a review because I do not like giving bad reviews, it is not within my nature to write bad things about people but I am also not going to lie about an experience, so it is only fair the truth is exposed. They were difficult to get hold of and on the off chance that you did, you couldn't hear them properly because they had awful phone lines and although this was a known issue, they did absolutely nothing to rectify it! I am most disappointed with their service and I am disgusted that I am 3 years down the line and still do not have my land registry. I put my trust into them and they completely failed. I paid for a service which was not provided. After nearly 2 and 1/2 years of being in my property, I all of a sudden had a number of emails from PLS asking for me to sign something for my land registry. I had since changed both my phone number and my email address so did not see these emails for a while. Had they have completed my land registry as they should have done, they should have never had to contact me. I am now in a position where I am looking to sell my property soon but I can't, because of the land registry! I have spoken to a number of different representatives at PLS who seem very disinterested with the matter. My last email from PLS is from Thursday the 8th and it reads 'The application at the Land Registry has not been completed yet'. How can this be satisfactory? No explanation given! I have been told multiple times by them that land registry can take up to 24 months... It has been 3 years and it is quite clear this is due to their total incompetence and nothing to do with 'the backlog' at land registry. To summarise, only choose PLS if you like to be stressed out and fobbed off 24/7. I would like to know how you are going to rectify this matter and do expect someone to be in touch with me.
