Contracted a lane/load that was several thousand pounds overweight. Instead of the Broker stating: we apologize for the inconvenience and would like to provide you a pecuniary supplement for time/fuel and energy; the Broker kept insisting that I remove water from the shipment/trash compactor so that it would be lighter. All I heard from the Broker was manipulation, lack of empathy, marginal communication and minimal professionalism!
