Steer Clear

Where do I begin. Firstly I give one star as negative stars are not available. I had been a customer of So Energy for two years but have now left due to the way the company behaves. Due to illness I fell into arrears on a payment. So Energy did nothing but send me harassing emails and phone calls about it. Long story short, I contacted them with a breakdown of finances to show what I could afford. They offered a payment plan above that. Having spoken to them again and agreed an amount they said they would put a note on my file. Well, the harassment continues. It's been going on since March and it's now end of May! It's shocking. I spoke to the energy ombudsman who can't do much as a complaint has to be open for 8 weeks and So Energy close them after 2 weeks even if they haven't heard back. Having been upfront about my health they continue to harass. It's DISGUSTING! Steer clear of these guys. So, So Energy have informed me that there is nothing they can do about the ongoing harassment as I don't have a direct debit and the only way to stop it is to set one up. I have never had a direct debit nor am I in a position to have one and they know it!! Disgraceful!!
