Feedback on HIVE Installation Experience with Bord Gáis
I signed up with the intention of getting the free HIVE system included with my plan. However, when the Bord Gáis engineer arrived, he refused to install it because I already had a smart thermostat installed by Alarms.com. I wanted this changed, but the engineer said switching to the HIVE would take too long and declined to do the installation. In the end, I hired another company to install a Google Nest thermostat, which was completed quickly and without any issues. My feedback for Bord Gáis is to improve the training of your engineers or only offer services that you are fully able to provide.
