Order cancelled after strung along for a month

So I notice my order is on hold 3 days after I place it. Reach out to customer service and their first agent tells me I have to wait at least 7 days. Weird. But ok... I wait. Reach out again to question why it's STILL saying on hold. Next agent tells me they will look into it. Turns out they had to reach out to double check with warehousing where my items were. So you mean to tell me this could have been checked on since the day I reached out? Noted and frustrated. I have 3 agents messaging me at any given time telling me how they still haven't heard back. I ask point blank is this going to be cancelled. They tell me they don't know anything. Flash forward to almost a whole month later for them to tell me it's cancelled... Meanwhile their stores have the item in stock but of course the sale is no longer. I'm beyond over it. They should at least allow you to get the items in store with a discount (they should honor it by raincheck), give a coupon, SOMETHING other than "oops our bad" after a whole month. Joann fabrics is awful, I barely do business with them due to crap experiences and figured I'd give their online sale a shot in hopes it would be better. Nope. After this situation I will not be doing business with them again. Bad for business the way they handle things without any care to the customer whatsoever. Good riddance!
