3 hours for breakdown to arrive to a lone woman
I called the breakdown number at 8.30pm on the 10th September as my car had broken down in the leisure centre car park. It took ages to get through. When I eventually got through I was advised the breakdown truck would arrive within 2 hours and I would be called again with an ETA. I did not receive a call by 10.30pm. I called back and was advised there was a delay and it would be another hour. I advised that I was a lone woman in a deserted car park as the leisure centre had closed at 10pm. I was told there was nothing else they could do. All the street lights in the car park went off at 11pm, I felt very vulnerable and worried. The break down truck eventually arrived just before 11.30pm. He was very nice and jump started the car as battery was dead but this did not make up for the fact that it took 3 hours for them to attend to a lone woman at night.
