Healthier in my 40s!
I jumped on with PLT for help with my changing body composition during perimenopause. I was working out, but felt like I wasn’t nailing my macros for where I was in life. I wanted more control over my health! Being a nurse, I also wanted a program that allowed me to eat my own food (we do tons of homemade cooking) and that didn’t involve shakes or supplements. I wasn’t looking to DIET, I was looking for health and wellness. I was paired with a wonderful dietician who helped me nail down my macros. Yes- they needed tweaking, but so did my thought process around my body and nutrition during my 40s. I feel stronger and healthier now than I did 5 years ago and can grasp how food fuels my body! Easily tracking my own diet proves it. I’m just finishing a 12 week program and planning to do 12 more!
