Unorganized Billing Dept. - Unresolved Billing Issues
Everything was great, until recently when I was provided a bill in September for utilities dating back to the beginning of the year - one of which was billed to me for a month I didn’t even live at the property, another which I already paid! I called them five times to attempt to resolve this issue, each time I was told it would be escalated and my account would not go into a negative standing. Low and behold, my account has a late fee assessed and is showing that my rent payment went towards the utility bill which is STILL not corrected. I’ve exchanged dozens of emails in addition to the phone calls, all of which have either been half-correcting the issue or disregarded the issue altogether. The handling of my account is extremely disappointing, which is why I have an outstanding balance now which I refuse to pay until Great Jones corrects the billing. Highly disappointing to someone who pays before the due date each month, never late, and pays in full. All due to the mishandling of the accounting department who did not appropriately bill my account to begin with.
