I'm in a formal dispute with Rebel. I was with this company for most of year. I was happy with service. We agreed I pay 59£ a month in bills. If I could give 0 stars I would. In recent months, I have identified multiple discrepancies, including usual meter reading within a short period. Its potential overcharging, and un explained outstanding balance. My bill was £59 a month, they have increased it to 440. I live in a small one bedroom apartment. Its not possible, I'd spent that much in a month. I have asked for a breakdown of bill, this has not been provided. They just send me a copy of my bill, which I already have. I asked for an engineer to check my meter, they quoted me £135. It's their responsibility to make sure my meter working, why should I have to pay for this? They told me to check my meter to get accurate reading. I asked for instructions on how to do this. It doesn't work. If I can't access accurate readings of my meter, how are they? How are they deciding my bill is 440? Steer clear of this company. I have already gone to Citizens advice. I' m building a case to take to Ombusman. They are already being formally investigated by Ofgem, so you know, they are doing something wrong. I don't know who has tasked this company, with providing the general public with electricity. I wouldn't trust them to look after a goldfish. I am absolutely outraged with treatment I had from this company. If anyone else is is in dispute with Rebel, please do reach out to me. I think we need to create a forum to discuss this company, and spread awareness about them so other customers, don't fall into their trap. Do not trust this company, they are unprofessional, incompetent, they do not care how their actions affects customers. Rebel aren't the rebels, the customers having dispute with them are.
