A blatant bad faith operation... Fraudulent and questionable legality
I ordered a wine and cheese basket for my parents for Christmas via pairingsclub.com . I paid $275 for 6 deliveries spread over 12 months. They delivered the first, and then charged my credit card for each subsequent delivery. When I flagged this to them their responses avoided the questions I asked always leading me around in a circular fashion. We traded more than 100 emails back and forth where they blamed me for making additional orders every 2 months and never admitted to putting an unauthorized repeating charge on my card. I had to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge. They finally relented once the credit card company contacted them. As soon as they agreed to refund me they very likely sold my card number to a fraud operation which pumped +$1000 of unauthorized charges (that my credit card company removed) into my card. Avoid them and any related websites like the plaque.
